With three dreamy bedrooms, fantastic open plan living and an astonishing terrace with alfresco dining and lounging and a gorgeous swimming pool, Villa Epidote is hard to beat! If three bedrooms doesn’t give enough space and you are taking a holiday with friends or family, you could also book our Villas Scepter and Pyrite. Villa Scepter also has three bedrooms and Villa Pyrite may be the perfect pick for the grandparents with one bedroom.

There is no doubt that you will return home with hundreds of Instagram-worthy beach photos when staying in this magical location. The baby beach of Falasarna is just 750m from Villa Epidote and the long sandy beach 2km away. Set on a small hill, the sunset views are absolutely incredible from this exclusive location. Falasarna is part of the Natura 2000 network due to its outstanding natural beauty and its endless varieties of flora and fauna. It offers white powdery sand, crystal clear water and mind-blowing sunsets that will remain in your memory for a very long time. Within easy reach are the equally stunning Elafonisi Beach, voted as one of the best five secret beaches by the BBC, and the idyllic Balos Beach with its pink sand and shallow waters. Balos is one of the main reasons visitors arrive in Crete and it is often compared to Caribbean beaches. The lively resort of Kissamos is less than 12km away and you shouldn’t miss a trip into the Venetian harbour of Chania, just less than 60km away.

Enjoying its private, serene and privileged location, Villa Epidote promises a memorable holiday in every way. Its open-plan living area is a total delight with a high vaulted ceiling and exposed stone wall that adds character and charm to this inviting space. With an elegant mix of wood and white cabinetry, excellent appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine and filter coffee machine and a central contemporary dining table and chairs, the kitchen and dining area is very sociable and beautifully designed. The living space is tasteful and exquisitely furnished with a low-level sofa and matching accent chairs, all in a natural colour palette. You will enjoy a giant Smart television, a contemporary fire for chilly evenings and stunning views out to the terrace and beyond to the Cretan Sea. Large glass doors slide open to give you access to the terrace and drown this gorgeous space in natural light.

Each of the three gorgeous bedrooms enjoys a sea view as well as lavish Coco-mat mattresses on the beds, luxury linens, Smart televisions and air-conditioning. Two are doubles and one a twin room. They all offer direct access to either a balcony or the pool terrace. The two bedrooms on the upper floor boast pristine ensuite bathrooms while guests staying in the downstairs bedroom enjoy the use of a smart family shower room. The fully tiled bathrooms are beautiful with top-of-the-range fittings.

The outdoor space of Villa Epidote has been designed to take full advantage of the views. It offers a fantastic swimming pool, perfect for cooling off, luxury loungers, umbrellas, a trendy fireplace and a shaded alfresco barbecue corner with a large dining table. There are many alfresco lounge areas, some of which are built-in and sprinkled with gorgeous scatter cushions. You will have to change your pre-dinner, sunset-watching spot every evening! A portable sound system is provided so you can even listen to your favourite tracks outside.
