At the beating heart of Lucca’s historic centre, Apartment Cattedrale is a rare find: a sleek, designer home with postcard views over one of the city’s most iconic squares, Piazza San Giovanni. Situated on the second floor of a beautifully preserved palazzo (with a lift), this two-bedroom apartment blends classic elegance with refined modern luxury.

Step into the light-filled salon, and you’re instantly drawn to the expansive windows that frame the church’s intricate marble façade, an ever-changing canvas of Renaissance artistry, sunlight, and shadows. Whether you're curled up with a morning cappuccino or hosting a candlelit dinner, the view is unforgettable.

Designed by a visionary architect, every detail in the apartment is deliberate. The interiors are fresh, contemporary, and warmly inviting. Natural tones, polished finishes, and designer lighting offer an effortless sense of calm and sophistication. The spacious open-plan layout flows from the salon into a state-of-the-art kitchen, fully equipped with top-end appliances and a breakfast bar ideal for grazing on local delicacies picked up at Lucca’s food markets.

The two generous bedrooms evoke a boutique hotel feel, with high-quality linens, built-in wardrobes, and soothing, elegant décor. One suite features a private balcony, where you can sip a glass of wine as the sun sets behind the Cathedral of Lucca, bells chiming softly in the distance.

Each of the two bathrooms has been immaculately finished, with walk-in showers and luxury fixtures for a spa-like experience. There's also a dedicated laundry space, perfect for extended stays.

Though right in the centre of the action, the apartment feels tranquil and secluded, thanks to its elevated position and double-glazed windows. Fast Wi-Fi and air conditioning make remote working or longer visits comfortable year-round.

Apartment Cattedrale is the ideal city retreat for couples or small groups looking to explore Lucca in style, with architectural wonders, artisan boutiques, and restaurants all just footsteps away.
