Step into the timeless romance of Tuscany at Apartment Belcanto Rooftop, a beautifully restored residence set in the very heart of Lucca’s historic centre. With views that open directly onto Piazza San Giovanni and elegant interiors full of charm, this spacious apartment offers a refined retreat for those looking to soak up Italy’s cultural heritage in style.

Located in a characterful 16th-century building, Apartment Belcanto Rooftop fuses classic Italian design with modern sensibility. Inside, antique patterned floors from the early 1900s meet contemporary furnishings, creating a space that feels both authentic and inviting. High ceilings, soft lighting, and carefully chosen details, think velvet armchairs, decorative ceramics, and a curated mix of art and books, set the stage for slow, sensory living.

With four bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across two levels, this home is perfect for families, couples or groups of friends looking to explore Lucca on foot. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for market-inspired meals, whether you're cooking up a fresh pasta dish or enjoying a long, lazy breakfast. The terrace, overlooking the piazza, is the perfect spot to sip your morning espresso or toast the evening with a glass of local wine.

The living room invites easy evenings in, with plush sofas, vintage finds, and plenty of natural light. When the city quiets down, you’ll hear the Puccini arias drifting in from next door, literally. The apartment shares a wall with the Church of San Giovanni, home of Lucca’s nightly Puccini concerts.

Lucca’s best attractions are all on your doorstep, from the grand Cathedral of San Martino to the lively antique market below, and even a Michelin-starred restaurant just across the square. After a day of exploring, return home to the comfort and calm of your private rooftop sanctuary. Apartment Belcanto Rooftop isn’t just a base for discovering Lucca, it’s a destination in itself.
