Rest your furrowed brow at this luxury Kefalonia sea-front villa with one stylish bedroom, a private swimming pool and unique Ionian views. From the outdoor terrace to the comfortable living room, the villa celebrates the unspoilt landscape with its prime positioning and use of large glass windows and doors.

Add to that the world-renowned Myrtos Bay – a sandy beach set at the foot of two majestic mountains – a short drive away as well as the charming village of Assos with its picture-worthy architecture and friendly local tavernas, and all your holiday needs are covered.

In contrast to the area’s ancient claims, Assos Heart is a modern villa with all the amenities you’ll need to for a homely stay. Think fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining room as well as an outdoor barbeque, and extra warm touches like bright artwork and playful pops of colour in the furniture or soft furnishing.

Plus, with a charming circular alfresco dining table, you can enjoy your meals while gazing at the azure of the sea and the magical sunset fading away behind historical Assos castle.

Back outside, the swimming pool looks as if it's spilling right into the sea and if you swim up to the edge you’re awarded more spectacular views. When you’re not cooling off in the crystal-clear waters, cosy up on one of the bean bag chairs with your favourite holiday read or find your prime sunbathing spot on one of the cushioned loungers.

There are also plenty of shaded places too if you need a rest from the warm Mediterranean sun. From the terrace, a natural private staircase winds down to the seafront and takes you to a rock platform. From there you can dive straight into the sea.

The tasteful design and minimal, contemporary fittings exude an air of unrivalled relaxation at this villa. Plus, set in a quiet and utterly private spot overlooking the sea, it’s the perfect choice for honeymooners or small families wanting to spend some quality time together.
