Encircled by rolling vineyards in the heart of the Languedoc countryside, Le Mas du Tailleur is a spacious country home offering uninterrupted views and the gentle pace of southern French living. Set within vast private grounds, the home’s west-facing terrace captures golden sunsets over the vines.

Inside, the house exudes understated charm with high beamed ceilings, natural materials and a layout designed for relaxed conviviality. The farmhouse kitchen is both beautiful and functional, flowing into a generous dining space and lounge, while various terraces ensure relaxing breakfasts and atmospheric dinners alike. Five bedrooms span the upper floor, including three with ensuite bathrooms, offering ample comfort for families or groups of friends. Downstairs, a vaulted games room with a pool table and a cosy TV lounge add further spaces to unwind.

The outdoor areas are equally inviting. The 9-metre pool sits beside a shaded dining terrace and barbecue, with a poolside shower and WC for added convenience. A boules court and table tennis encourage outdoor play or just sit back on a sun lounger for lazy afternoons under the Mediterranean sky. Just a leisurely 1.7km walk through the vines leads to Saint-Pons-de-Mauchiens, where a local grocery and fresh bread await your morning stroll.

Le Mas du Tailleur enjoys a superb location between Montpellier and Béziers, just half an hour from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. Nearby villages such as Saint-Pargoire and Montagnac offer weekly markets, cafés and bakeries, while Pézenas adds a touch of historical charm – don’t miss its famous Saturday morning market. Whether sampling oysters in Mèze or trying vintages at neighbouring estates, the region is rich in discoveries.

For those seeking a slow, sunlit escape in an unspoilt corner of the South of France, Le Mas du Tailleur offers a rare blend of elegance, privacy and authentic rural charm.
