Just outside the perched village of Gordes, Maison Rohmer is a delightful country cottage that exudes Provençal charm. Surrounded by fragrant flora and aged stone walls, this characterful abode offers complete privacy and an intimate connection with the natural beauty of southern France.

Inside, the cottage unfolds across three levels, each designed to feel both restful and inviting. On the ground floor, the heart of the home blends modern convenience with rustic elegance. The well-equipped kitchen opens to a new conservatory-style living room where large glass doors frame views of the garden and pool.

Each of the three double bedrooms comes with its own en-suite facilities, offering comfort and privacy across different levels of the house, reached via old stone stairs. Two bedrooms benefit from air conditioning, and the ground-floor suite opens directly onto the garden.

Step outside onto the shaded dining terrace and feel the sun warm the flagstones beneath your feet as you prepare meals on the barbecue or lounge beside the private swimming pool. Beyond your pool and patio, the grounds cascade over wild terraced levels.

Maison Rohmer sits just beyond the storied village of Gordes, one of France’s official Plus Beaux Villages. Its hilltop silhouette of honey-coloured stone and terracotta roofs is instantly recognisable. A short drive (or a scenic and hilly 2km walk) brings you into the heart of this historic village, where narrow cobbled streets reveal artisan boutiques, family-run cafés and timeless Provençal life. The sweeping views from the castle walls stretch across lavender fields and the rolling hills of the Luberon, creating a sense of place that is both cinematic and authentic.

Whether soaking in the sun by the pool or discovering the beauty of the Luberon landscapes, Maison Rohmer invites you to slow down and savour the rhythm of countryside living in one of Provence’s most celebrated corners.
