On the edge of a little hamlet in the Lot-et-Garonne countryside, Maison Le Gil is a characterful getaway that pairs generous proportions with a polished, contemporary finish, creating a space that feels both stylish and charming. The house enjoys a fine location for exploring this part of southwestern France, only a short drive from the banks of the Garonne River and the heart of historic Agen.

Arranged across three floors, the layout offers both privacy and flexibility for families or groups of friends. Sunlight filters through the interiors, drawing you from the sociable kitchen and dining areas to the relaxed living room, while doors open out to the pretty terrace and pool beyond. A well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances invites leisurely meals at home, best served al-fresco on the shaded terrace beside the barbecue.

Six thoughtfully designed bedrooms are complemented by six bathrooms (some en suite), making shared stays feel easy and unhurried, whilst a seventh bedroom is available on request.

Back outside, the swimming pool, set against open countryside views, offers a refreshing retreat, with an attractive poolside terrace and loungers for warm summer afternoons, perhaps followed by a leisurely game of pétanque.

The surrounding area captures the essence of southwest France. Just a 10-minute drive away, the riverside town of Port Sainte Marie provides shops, cafés and a gentle pace of life along the Garonne. Clermont-Dessous is even closer for everyday essentials, while the larger town of Agen offers bustling markets, renowned local produce and a vibrant atmosphere.

Vineyards, walking routes and cycling trails weave through the landscape, with charming historic towns such as Nérac, Lectoure and Villeneuve-sur-Lot within reach for wonderful days out.

For enjoying time together in the French countryside, Maison Le Gil offers a setting where comfort, style and space come together with effortless appeal.
