It is an ideal location for those that love the outdoors, hiking, biking, rock climbing and thrilling water activities. The village enjoys several authentic taverns to enjoy delicious homemade food, including pasticada with gnocchi. The village comes alive on Tuesdays with its cattle, craft and food markets. Zadvarje enjoys stunning landscapes, including the biggest waterfall in Dalmatia, The Great Gubavica. The Biokovo Nature Park rises from the village's southern edge, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the islands. The historic town of Omis is just half an hour's drive away, similar to the drive to Makarska.
